It is also a very child friendly resort with activities set up for the children that include sledding, skating, and indoor bowling. There are also places to shop, snowmobile, and you can even go to the movies after a rough day on the slopes. Child care is provided at this resort.
If you want to engage in some cross country skiing then your best bet is the Royal Gorge Cross Country Ski Resort which is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. This resort is extremely popular because it has over 9000 acres to ski on. Royal Gorge offers the biggest area of cross country skiing in all of North America. It is also the perfect ski location because there is an annual snowfall on average of over 600 inches and it is very well groomed. This particular resort has almost 100 magnificent trails and ample surface lifts.
