180s Quantum Vent Gloves and Metro Ear Warmers With Headphones Reviewed

One of the public relations people for 180s contacted me about reviewing a couple of their new products – their Quantum Vent Gloves and their Metro Ear Warmers. I associate 180s as those cool ear muffs that fold behind your head. I didn’t even know they made gloves until the company shipped a pair to my door. I had no idea that gloves had advanced so much. I had just assumed that gloves were gloves and used the same pair forever. Actually the real reason is that I’m quite frugal and stick to what works for me.

The Quantum Vent Gloves comes in at $75. However, that money buys a lot of features. There are two features that I’d like to stress. The adjustable venting system is a great way to keep your hands from sweating. With my old pair of gloves, I never realized that my hands were sweating… it was never in my mind. The other feature is a Tec Touch 2.0. I think it is best described as a rubber nubbin on the index finger. Why would you want this? It’s good for controlling devices like my upcoming Palm Pixi cell phone.

If you have the gloves to control an MP3 player, you might as well have the MP3 player. When you combine the gloves, mp3 player, and the Metro ear warmers with headphones, you have the total package of comfort. The ear warmers are very much like the famous 180s, except that they double as a set of headphones.

So if you are looking to upgrade you ski gear, I recommend picking up a set of these gloves and ear warmers.
